Ghanaian singer Mr Drew in his previous interview has disclosed the dependency of few artists in the Ghana Music Industry and this has made most other artist coming out to praise him of speaking the truth so humbly.
In his interview he said, there are a lot of musicians in Ghana . Good musical acts but the leaders in the Ghana Music Industry has decided to choose or select just few artists to be the face of the industry and only giving out those artist shows, portraying and promoting only them in the industry.
As he keeps on speaking on the dependency he says he could even mention about hundreds of musicians in the country that are good but the industry isn’t favoring them at all.
Because the Industry is favoring just few artist and using them for business, if the artist goes wrong his question is who are they going to use again . Because the people don’t know the other artist that are there or very familiar to their level of understanding to love their music and even book them for shows.
He later said his fellow artist “ Ras Kukuu” has been backing in this same issue and he love seeing him do that too because that’s the bitter truth.
Mr Drew who is the hit maker of Case and a lot of other songs says he is real and he could not hide this any longer and needed to left this off his shoulders. He doesn’t care if some of the gate keepers in the Ghana Entertainment industry starts to fight him because he has let out the truth out.
He therefore say he is looking forward for any show that comes his away from any place in Ghana and he is not going to reject it if it meet his terms and conditions.
He Said , I don’t reject shows in villages because is far from Accra , I only reject shows only if they don’t meet my terms and conditions. Music is business and event organizers should watch out for that not to disrespect artist.
